Three Sculptures have been erected in Linton as part of the Linton Greenways - Pathways through nature and Time project. Rickmans Corner have been working with People Express from Swadlincote on the project and have been supported by Linton Parish Council.
Another great exhibition of work by local artists - thanks to everyone who displayed their work - we have some very talented people in our locality.
Favourite Picture as voted by visitors to the exhibition was 'Lake Windermere' painted by Martin O'Connor - many congratulations Martin. We are happy to have sold several pieces of Artwork during the Exhibition - Congratulations to all the Artists concerned.
Watercolour Demonstration by local professional artist Di Lorriman - Including an opportunity to have a go yourself. Time TBC.

Many thanks to all the volunteers from our Community who came to help with the hedge and Tree Planting Event on 16th and 17th February led by a member of Derbyshire Wildlife Trust. Together we planted 350 native hedging trees and 10 Fruit Trees including Apple, Pear and Cherry. We also helped in the construction of a raised bed in preparation for the planting of Flax seeds at our next event on Tuesday 31st March when we will also do some planting to turn a simple bank into a haven for butterflies and other insect life.
