Published by elaine on Wed, 18/02/2026 - 16:20Many thanks to all the volunteers from our Community who came to help with the hedge and Tree Planting Event on 16th and 17th February led by a member of Derbyshire Wildlife Trust. Together we planted 350 native hedging trees and 10 Fruit Trees including Apple, Pear and Cherry. We also helped in the construction of a raised bed in preparation for the planting of Flax seeds at our next event on Tuesday 31st March when we will also do some planting to turn a simple bank into a haven for butterflies and other insect life.

Christmas 100 Draw
Published by elaine on Sun, 21/12/2025 - 09:08The Christmas 100 Hamper from the 'Santa's Secret Garden' event held on Sunday 7th December 2025 has been won by the purchaser of square No. 5 - the lucky square was selected by the Committee using a random number generator. The winner was 'Pete' and has been notified and will receive their Hamper before Christmas. Thanks to Nestle for generously donating the hamper.
It was lovely to see so many people attend the event. The Children all had a great time visiting with Santa and making their Christmas Windmills.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
